Optimal Workshop

Usability testing using Optimal Workshop for Card Sorting, Tree Tests, and Tree Jacking

Assessment of the Spotify Settings Menu

This was a class project for the Human- Computer Interaction course where the goal was to use optimal workshop on an existing application or software. The tests conducted were card sorting, tree jack, and tree test.

The deliverable can be seen towards the end of the slides with recommendations of how to improve the settings menu based on results we gathered from students in the course.

Overall, a simpler menu with less tabs and clearer names for the categories. Some of the names given currently are confusing to the user and caused misunderstanding as to where certain information would be.
